2012 Iowa Shows

Here is a list of the Iowa shows. These Iowa shows take place at the Linn County Fairgrounds in Central City.

October 21 (Game/Fun Show at Lisbon—details coming soon)

All shows start at 9 a.m. Game classes are first.

All shows will be held at the Linn County Fairgrounds.

Trail Rides To Be Announced
Trail Riding Etiquette.1. Don't pass a group at a high speed
2. Don't make loud noise on the trail.
3. Don't trash Mother Nature.
4. If your horse kicks, wear a red ribbon on its tail.
5. Take care of your horse after the ride.
6. Leave gates as you found them.
7. Slow down going around sharp corners.
8. Be a good Samaritan.
Trail etiquette isn't hard. It's common sense and the golden rule.
Treat others as you want to be treated.

Parade Dates:We are currently working on the parade dates and we will post them soon.

Fun Days
We have a number of Fun Days that are schedules just so that families can come together and enjoy that outdoors with their horses.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving dinner will be Saturday, November 19th. Happy hour at 5 p.m.; Dinner at 6 p.m. There will be an auction. Please contact MaryJo Meggers (319-848-7643) or Jim Miller (318-848-4371) for further information.

Awards Banquet /Christmas Dinner

Will be held Saturday, December 10th. Happy hour at 5 p.m.; Dinner at 6 p.m. If parents want to bring a wrapped present for their child/children, they should do so; please be sure to put the recipient’s name on the gift.
